AHA-ALIGNED & NURSE-LED
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification & Renewal
Led by experienced critical care nurses, our AHA-aligned, case-based ACLS course bridges the gap between theory and clinical practice for high-acuity response.
Course Overview
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is an advanced set of clinical interventions for the urgent treatment of cardiac arrest, stroke, and other life-threatening medical emergencies. Our course emphasizes the importance of basic life support and high-quality CPR, integrating these foundational skills with advanced interventions.
We focus on the early recognition and management of respiratory and cardiac arrest, peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia and tachycardia, and the specialized care required in the post-cardiac arrest phase. Led by experienced critical care nurses, the curriculum is designed to bridge the gap between textbook theory and real-world clinical application.
Upon successful completion of the course, which includes a written exam and a hands-on skills check, participants receive an American Heart Association (AHA) aligned ACLS provider card, valid for two years.
You’ll Practice
- High-quality adult CPR & AED use
- Rhythm recognition (ECG)
- Airway management & adjuncts
- Defibrillation & synchronized cardioversion
- ACLS Pharmacology & IV/IO access
- Team leadership & dynamics
Who Should Enroll
This American Heart Association-aligned course is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes RNs, APRNs, physicians, PAs, respiratory therapists, paramedics, and advanced students in these programs.
Participants should have a solid foundation in basic life support skills and rhythm recognition to ensure maximum success during high-fidelity case simulations.
